Since 2018, we’ve provided fun, welcoming spaces for kids, adults, and communities to explore a wide range of art styles and techniques with experienced teachers. An informal and friendly art course designed for those interested in gaining a better understanding and appreciation of fine art. You’ll feel inspired not only by the studio itself, but the gorgeous views it boasts of Maroubra beach. Classes explore drawing and painting with a variety of materials and techniques including acrylic, oil paint and wet and dry drawing materials such as ink, pastels and charcoal. Students are encouraged to work on their own art projects and develop their own personal style. The Art Studio also offers daily kids and teens classes, along with art parties and venue hire for creative functions.
We understand that sometimes children may need to miss a class in our kids art programs due to illness or other commitments. While we always do our best to help, please note that due to high demand and limited studio capacity, our policy is that we do not guarantee a make-up class will be available. To help you plan ahead, we usually advertise a reminder that enrolments for the next term of kids art classes are open around two weeks before the term starts. We strongly recommend enrolling early to avoid missing out, as places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, our NDIS art workshops are flexible and adaptable, meaning that we can tailor our programs to meet the needs of each individual participant.
