We are an art school that provides art classes for kids and adults aged 5 to 18 years. Kids learn about different drawing techniques, artists, genres, and the differences between art media in a relaxed and nurturing environment. This is an introductory level  course and does not require any prior experience. It consists of four levels (10 lessons per level) and 27 software projects. The main goal of the course is to ensure students understand the fundamentals of coding. Students create simple video games such as Pong, Breakout, Slither.io and develop simple animations and cartoons.
Both studios are completely accessible for wheelchair access. There is plenty of space in each room for a wheelchair and there are also bathroom facilities to accomodate. If you require a carer we do everything we can to accomodate this, however it is best to call to discuss in case there are additional bits of information that can be discussed about the class.

The use of visual communication is a vital part of everyday life and students of all ages, skill levels and careers are discovering the benefits of art classes. All art classes run according to regular schedules during public school terms. Classes in our art school are available on weekday after school and Saturdays. We believe that our programs stand out for a number of reasons. Every term a new artistic topic is chosen and lesson plans are created. The artistic topic focuses on a subject type e.g. portraiture, landscape, still life or an art movement  such as impressionism, surrealism, cubism.

With a passion for colour and interior decorating, Dana went on to study at the Julian Ashton School of Arts followed by sculpture and colour and design at East Sydney Technical College. Dana was later inspired by art tutor colleagues, whilst employed at Macquarie University. Painting Workshops – Kiddos explore acrylic and watercolour painting.
Students learn how to create fun polished games such as Putt Putt, Hoop Jump, Scratch-Craft, Flight Simulator, and Tiny Tanks by implementing fundamental programming logic, mathematics, variables, lists, and functions. Students design sophisticated applications like Baby Yoda Trainers, 3D Printer Simulators, and Binary Calculators. At Art Class Sydney we run a Wednesday morning and evening and a Thursday morning class in painting and drawing. Classes are structured around different subjects and look at a variety of artists methods and genres. We also run monthly Sunday workshops in a variety of media and subjects including workshops in drawing, painting and watercolour from still life, portraits, landscape and abstraction. In addition, our NDIS art workshops are flexible and adaptable. This means that we can tailor our programs to meet the needs of each individual participant. Whether it's modifying a technique or adapting materials to accommodate specific needs.

Birthday parties are the exception however we request only the birthday person's parents to be present. Intro to Java coding course is ideal for Y5 – Y11 students with no prior coding experience. Highly recommended to those kids who enjoy digital art and video games. By the end of the course, students will have developed a strong foundation in algorithmic design, debugging, and logical reasoning, along with the confidence to tackle more complex coding challenges. Artnest welcomes people of all ages and levels of experience. Each student will have their own easel to work on, including canvases all art materials.
