Our childcare approach is deeply rooted in cultural inclusivity, which is exemplified through our specially curated programs. These are thoughtfully designed to celebrate and integrate Indigenous Australian culture, from teaching local languages to incorporating traditional storytelling and art. This  initiative aims to instill a deep-seated appreciation and understanding of Australia’s Indigenous heritage in every child, right from their early years.

Thanks to the chef at our Bayswater child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We have an experienced food coordinator who prepares all meals in accordance with Australian dietary guidelines, using fresh ingredients delivered under our strict food safety program. We are very lucky to have a qualified chef with many years of experience at our service cooking nutritious, healthy and delicious meals for the children. Our chef is at the centre five days a week, involved in the program and often cooks with the children.
When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. We have an annual calendar of events inviting families to participate in various celebrations. Families are welcome throughout the year, and we offer parent-educator meetings on request.

Children participate in additional learning experiences included in the daily program, such as monthly library visits and Mini Monstars music and movement sessions. BCCA honours the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, the Traditional Custodians of this sacred land on which we learn, work, and play. Our vacation care program offers a dynamic range of activities specifically designed to cater to the interests and developmental stages of children aged 4 to 12 years.
