Dom Pérignon Limited-Edition Bottles

The immersive exhibition, opening in London on May 16, will combine new works with prestigious archives. A space of total creation, where each champagne flute becomes a tribute to the inspired moment. The Dom Pérignon champagne owes its name to the famous monk and procurer of the Abbaye d'Hautvillers in 1668, Pierre Pérignon, known as Dom Pérignon. According to legend, Pierre Pérignon discovered what is now known as the Champagne method. The Maison Dom Pérignon’s commitment to quality and innovation is embodied by its current Cellar Master, Vincent Chaperon, who took up the mantle in 2019. The Champagne brand owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has been further strengthening its creative ties.
Dom Pérignon has launched a new creative initiative which will bring together seven "iconic creators" in a series of portraits, films, design dom  perignon pieces and performances. With “Creation is an Eternal Journey”, Dom Pérignon raises creation to the level of philosophy. Beyond the exceptional beverage, it’s emotion, intuition and imagination that take center stage. A powerful, contemporary vision of luxury, where each bubble contains the memory of a gesture and the promise of renewal. On colorful plinths made by Sarabande artist Adam, the brand showcased their special edition of Vintage 2015 in tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat. Directed by the talented Camille Summers-Valli, the films open and close with acclaimed photographer Collier Schorr, whose captivating presence frames the entire journey —immortalizing intimate portraits destined to become the campaign prints.

These projects weren’t merely endorsements; they were co-creations that fused the artist’s aesthetics with Dom Pérignon’s identity, often yielding highly collectible products. They also generated extensive PR, placing Dom Pérignon at the intersection of luxury and avant-garde culture. With this collaboration, Dom Pérignon reaffirms its role not just as a purveyor of exceptional champagne, but as a curator of cultural dialogue. By inviting Takashi Murakami’s vibrant artistry into its world, the maison transforms each bottle into a collectible canvas—one that celebrates the ephemeral beauty of champagne and the enduring power of creative expression. For those who seek rarity, refinement, and resonance, this limited edition release is more than a toast—it’s a statement.
For the 2025 year-end season, Dom Pérignon partners once again with visionary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to create a limited-edition design for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015. Taking its name from the date when the brand was first registered and timed to launch just ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival (when the moon is at its brightest), the 1926 Luna from Tudor marks the brand’s first ever watch with a moon phase complication. Serve Dom Pérignon Limited Edition Takashi Murakami Rosé 2010 well-chilled at 45–50°F in a tulip flute or white wine  glass to showcase its aromatic complexity and refined mousse. It pairs beautifully with tuna tartare, duck breast, roasted squab, or aged cheeses. Perfect for milestone celebrations, luxury gifting, or as a centerpiece in any fine Champagne collection.
This limited release will not return, making it both a luxurious drinking experience and a valuable collectible. Secure your bottle today and own a fusion of champagne prestige and contemporary art. Produced in strictly limited quantities, the Dom Pérignon Rosé 2015 Takashi Murakami Edition is destined to become a collector’s treasure. Each bottle is not only a toast to creative excellence but also a testament to craftsmanship and time. For art lovers, wine enthusiasts, and those who value the extraordinary, it represents a moment where culture, luxury, and celebration converge.

The images feel candid, sometimes vulnerable, and entirely rooted in the personalities they feature. It’s a welcome departure from the glossy veneer of traditional luxury advertising, adding texture and emotional nuance. Dom Pérignon’s new creative direction isn’t just an evolution—it feels like a course correction for an industry often fixated on surface-level glamour. While the product remains unmistakably premium, the presentation is all about substance.
The wine’s aromatic profile also pairs perfectly with meats with tangy notes, such as pork, lamb or duck. Exotic touches of kiwi and guava, along with green curry spices, accentuate the stimulating complexity of this vintage, offering a rich and soothing wine tasting experience. The 2015 vintage wine is characterised by its breadth and delicacy, offering a unique sensory experience.
Takashi Murakami’s artistic touch elevates this champagne from a premium beverage to a collectible. Moving beyond Dom Pérignon’s traditional vineyard shield imagery, Murakami adorns the bottles with a fantastical floral landscape. The coffrets (gift boxes) feature the shield framed by his vibrant, abundant flowers; when placed side by side, these coffrets form a modular floral tableau, inviting collectors to engage with the art beyond the bottle itself. Murakami’s bold Superflat aesthetic—marked by playful, vivid "kawaii" motifs—infuses Dom Pérignon’s minimalist elegance with striking contrasts, blending timeless sophistication with spirited imagination. When a top-tier champagne house collaborates with a legendary artist, the result is nothing short of extraordinary.

At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared creative philosophy between Dom Pérignon Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon and Takashi Murakami. Both creators view tradition not as a relic to be preserved but as a dynamic framework to be reinterpreted. Their dialogue blurs the boundaries between classical artistry and contemporary innovation—an intersection where heritage serves as a springboard for reinvention rather than a constraint. The campaign, beyond the striking visuals, will also encompass short films exploring each artist's creative process and an upcoming art exhibition in London.
