Taking the time to mark thisanniversary with renewed efforts on the Cities Appeal is consistent withCouncil’s values and offers a meaningful opportunity to engage localresidents—especially young people—in global citizenship andpeacebuilding. From 6 May to 1 July 2024, thecommunity was invited to provide feedback via an online survey on what safetymeans and how safe they feel in the Inner West. During the engagement period2,003 people visited the Your Say Inner West project page, and 226 peoplecompleted the survey.
