We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development. Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers collaborate with the local primary school to deliver a Government-approved Kindergarten program that prepares children for school. As part of the daily fee, children enjoy extracurricular activities, including weekly incursions by the Active8 Health and Fitness program in all classrooms. Erin is the passionate Service Manager at Story House Early Learning Pakenham, with over 21 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a Diploma in Children’s Services. Her love for early education began at just four years old when she told her kindergarten teacher she wanted to be just like her.
Our nursery room is purposely designed to make every baby feel safe exploring and discovering new things. Our spaces are filled with sensory experiences and activities to encourage intentional and responsive play-based learning. We focus on building secure relationships between children  and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones.

Our goal in the Kindergarten year is to prepare children and families for a smooth transition to primary school. I’m passionate about giving kids the best start in life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and learn during such vital years.
I also want to say a big shout out to Linda the Acting Centre Manager for running the centre on her own the past 6 months, you are always so positive to the parents, teachers, and children. They really respect you, us as parents can see, and my son just adores you, we will miss coming here, as we leap in to school this year. My daughter has been attending daycare since she was 6 months old, and we have been through around four different centres.
Their initiative and care really stood out.What I truly appreciate is how this centre sees and supports each child as an individual. We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, from the moment you book a tour with us, through to enrolment and when your child starts care. We have an open-door policy and welcome your input and feedback, as this is important to us and helps form collaborative relationships, between you and the community. This also helps us to provide an environment that is supportive to all children, families, and educators. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and we are part of that village.
